It's only taken us 4 months to do our first feature this year, and we were granted the opportunity to talk to a seemingly omni-present, Rob Randell, one of the more infectiously positive characters on the local scene, to find out a bit about his musical history and his night, Inspirations.
Our very occasional features series continues with a chat with Pej Yavari, founder of the Back To Love parties in Reading - we find out why he started the night, talk about the musical ethos and the more recent night with Terry Farley. Enjoy.
So why did you start up Back2Love?
I started of back to love mainly because there is no huge choice of places for the 30 something plus in Reading to go to and party.
Unbelievably we have made it to our 3rd feature. But far more impressively, Skint Mondays have made it to their 5th birthday, and Ubereadoolische is honoured to talk to Pete Wheeler - also known as 50% of Skint Mondays (and CUBED).
It’s 15 years since your interviewer went to university. Every student night then was a musical vomit-feast of Chesney Hawkes and Steps. A tragedy.
We can now actually call our features a series with our second interview, Ubereadoolische is delighted to talk to Christopher Wells - better known as 50% of Skint Mondays and Ubereadoolische favourite Cubed.
